Boss Ads ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Boss Ads mobile application (the "App"). This
Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use
our App.

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:

- Profile photo (optional)
- Address (optional)
Ad Listing Information
When you post an advertisement, we collect:
- Ad title, description, and price
- Photos and media you upload
- Category and custom field details
- Location data (city, area, coordinates)
Device & Usage Information
- Camera: Used to take photos for your profile picture and ad listings. We only access the camera
when you explicitly choose to take a photo.
- Location: Used to show your approximate location on ad listings and to help buyers find nearby
ads. Location is only accessed with your permission.
- Microphone: Used for voice messages in the chat feature. Only accessed when you choose to
record an audio message.
- Push Notifications: Used to send you messages about new chat messages, offers, and important
updates. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Display your ad listings to potential buyers
- Enable messaging between buyers and sellers
- Send notifications about messages, offers, and account activity
- Improve the App and user experience
- Prevent fraud and ensure safety
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following cases:
- Public Listings: Your ad details (title, description, photos, price, location) are publicly
visible to all App users.
- Seller Profile: Your name and profile photo are visible to users who view your ads or message
you.
- Contact Information: Your phone number and email are only shown if you enable "Show Contact
Info" in your profile settings.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services (Google Maps, Firebase, payment processors) that
may process data on our behalf.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and
safety.
4. Third-Party Services
Our App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Maps: For location selection and map display. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase (Google): For push notifications and analytics. Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Payment Processors: For subscription payments. Each processor has its own privacy policy.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to
protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However,
no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information as long as your account is active. When you delete your
account, we remove your personal data, ad listings, and chat history. Some data may be retained
for legal or operational purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View your personal data in the Edit Profile section.
- Update: Modify your name, phone number, address, and profile photo.
- Delete: Delete your account and all associated data from the Account settings.
- Control Visibility: Toggle whether your contact information is shown publicly.
- Notifications: Enable or disable push notifications from your profile or device settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information,
please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes
through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Account & Data Deletion
How to Delete Your Account
Boss Ads allows you to delete your account and all associated data directly from the app. Follow
these steps:
1. Open the Boss Ads app
2. Go to Account (bottom navigation)
3. Scroll down to the Account section
4. Tap "Delete Account"
5. Confirm the deletion in the dialog
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo, address)
- All your ad listings and associated photos
- Chat messages and conversation history
- Transaction and payment history
- Saved favorites and preferences
- Push notification subscriptions
- All offers made or received
What May Be Retained
- Anonymized usage data that cannot identify you
- Records required by law or for legal compliance
- Payment transaction records as required by payment processors and tax regulations
Timeframe
Account deletion is processed immediately. Some cached data may take up to 30 days to be fully
removed from all systems.
